Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 19, 2026 (revised the same day to cover Google Analytics, before it was switched on)
This policy explains what information Jev AI Guide (“we”, “the site”) collects when you visit jevaiguide.com and how it is used.
Summary
Section titled “Summary”- We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name or email address unless you write to us.
- We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets two first-party cookies and sends usage data to Google. You can block it and still read every page.
- The site shows no advertising.
- Our hosting provider processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site.
Information processed when you visit
Section titled “Information processed when you visit”The site is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time of the request, in order to deliver the page, prevent abuse and keep the service secure. This processing is governed by Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. We do not combine this data with any other information.
Analytics
Section titled “Analytics”We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google. When a page loads, a script from Google records:
- the pages you view, the page or search engine that sent you here, and how long you stay;
- how far you scroll, and clicks on links that lead to other sites;
- your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language;
- your approximate location (country, region or city), which Google derives from your IP address. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
To tell repeat visits apart, the script stores a random identifier in two cookies on this domain:

We use the reports only to see which pages are useful and what to improve. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you, and we do not combine it with any other information about you. Google keeps the detailed event data for the retention period set in our Analytics account (2 or 14 months); summary reports, such as monthly page counts, can be kept longer. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy; its page How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services explains how.
Opting out
Section titled “Opting out”- Block cookies for jevaiguide.com in your browser settings, or use a content blocker. Every page still works.
- Install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which stops the Google Analytics script on every website from sending your visits to Google Analytics.
Information stored in your browser
Section titled “Information stored in your browser”- Analytics cookies. The two Google Analytics cookies described above.
- Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.
- Site search. The search box runs entirely in your browser using a static search index downloaded from this site. What you type is not sent to us or to any third party.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to fix the issue you reported, and we do not share it or add you to any mailing list.
Links to other sites
Section titled “Links to other sites”Pages link to TypeSafe’s documentation and to other third-party sites as sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
Changes to this policy
Section titled “Changes to this policy”If we add advertising or any other service that collects data, we will update this page before it goes live and change the effective date above.
